How shall I set up the Categories, and what categories shall I use? This is not the same thing as Permissions. And it probably shouldn't be the same as the different sections of this website. I think that they should probably be more topic related. I want to have enough categories so that people can find what they are looking for, but if I get to many, then it gets unwieldy. The Topic Category boxes get bigger and bigger with each listing, so that will limit how big I should make it.

In trying to figure out what type of categories I need to set up, part of what I have to determine is who do I want the users of this website to be? Do I want this to be just a place where potential clients can find out information about my services? Or do I want this website to give information for all people across the nation to get information.

Let me list some possibilites:

  • Upholstery: I don't know if, because I mainly do furniture upholster, perhaps I should just have a furniture upholstery category. I don't do Automobile or
    • Furniture
    • Auto:
    • Marine
    • Miscellaneous
  • Window Treatments
  • Sewing
  • Tools
  • Supplies
  • How To
  • Management
    • Bookkeeping
    • Shop
