Picture Gallery Updated

Upgrading the Picture Gallery
In the process of upgrading this website from Drupal software (used to create this website) I also have been upgrading the Gallery 2 software that is used to hold the the pictures used on this website and used to create the slide shows. I've had some problems in finishing the upgrade to the new version of Gallery 2. For the last week or two Gallery 2 has been down. Every time I tried to access it I got error messages. I've been scouring the Internet trying to find solutions, how to fix the errors that have been preventing Gallery 2 from working.
On one of the websites I read that sometimes just installing the new version of Gallery 2 over the old version can cause not all files to be copied onto the website, thus causing the error messages. So, last night I finally decided make a back up, then deleted all the folders containing Gallery 2. I then did a fresh clean install (using the existing database, and connecting the new install of Gallery 2 to the existing picture folders.
The result is that, finally, Gallery 2 is up and running. I can now continue to organize and add new pictures. I still have to research (a fancy name for looking all over the Internet and reading countless messages) to find out how to imbed (connect) Gallery 2 to Drupal. They have changed the way and the terminology used that need to you imbed it, so I can't just use the previous settings. This is why the random picture (upper left corner of the heading) isn't working.
After I figure out how to finish imbedding Gallery 2, then I have to configure it so the pictures in Gallery 2 will be easily accessible while a person is working in Drupal.
Setting Up Website a Challenge
For a lot of these steps, there are not clear instruction written, the documentation is kind of sketching. This makes the installation and cofiguration somewhat more challenging. Fortunatelly, the main Drupal website has a good Forum that I can ask questions in. The trick, to get meaningful and helpful answers, is to write out a very detailed question, describing what I have done, and what specifically I am trying to accomplish. Eventually it will come together.
Installation Goes Slow
This installation process doesn't go as quickly as I'd like it to, partly because of my lack of knowledge, and partly because I have to "get paying (upholstery) work done" to pay the bills, etc. My children also like to have me spend time (play) with them. This doesn't leave much time for putting together websites.
Also Busy Develpping Another Website
At the same time I'm upgrading this website, I'm also installing a new Drupal website (that also contains Gallery 2) for our church Kingwood Bible: Community Website I will transferring the data (cut and paste) from the existing .
