Delivered chair

I just got back from delivering THE chair.

I got to her house at 6 as scheduled. She was not home. I called her and she said she will be 10 min late. Fine.

She finally gets there and I take the chair in her house and then she tells me she can't find her checkbook. I stood nice and quiet ( In my head I am thinking I am taking the chair back to my truck). She goes upstairs and must have grabbed a new stack of checks from a box. Writes me the check. Thank goodness that is over with. I just hope it clears.

Hoping for the best.

Tessi, What a challenging time for you! Cry Now just have to wait to see if the check is any good! I missed the front end of this conversation, but can certainly relate to delivering to a touchy client.

How did the chair turn out? Were you happy with it? I'll be eager to hear that the check was good.Smile

Best Wishes,

Stephen

Gee, what an ordeal!
